Spring: A SEASON OF REBIRTH & RENEWAL
MARCH - MAY | Kapha Season
Spring is a time of awakening. After the stillness of winter, energy begins to rise—but if we’re not intentional, we can feel heavy, sluggish, and stuck.
This season is ruled by Kapha energy—which is cool, damp, and slow. When out of balance, it can show up as:
❂ Feeling tired or unmotivated
❂ Sluggish digestion or bloating
❂ Brain fog, congestion, or seasonal allergies
❂ A desire to stay cozy, but knowing you need to move
To realign, we need lightness, movement, and renewal.
SPRING WELLNESS TIPS
☼ Move with energy. Shift out of winter hibernation with invigorating, sculpting, and heat-building movement. This is a time to sweat, clear stagnation, and awaken your body. (Try: Pilates, barre, breathwork, walking in fresh air.)
☼ Eat light & fresh. Swap heavier, grounding winter foods for leafy greens, sprouts, herbs, and warming spices like ginger and cinnamon. Keep digestion strong with warm lemon water in the morning.
☼ Let go of excess. Spring is a time of clearing—physically, emotionally, and energetically. Detox your home, your schedule, and anything that feels heavy or draining. (Think: decluttering, lymphatic massage, deep exhaling.)
☼ Rise with the sun. Shake off winter’s slowness by waking earlier and getting outside in natural light. This resets your body’s rhythm and helps increase energy and focus.
☼ Breathe & reset. Combat seasonal allergies and congestion with Kapha-balancing breathwork—long exhalations, breath of fire, and alternate nostril breathing. (Try: 3 minutes of deep, intentional breathwork every morning
